This is something i have been meaning to get round to for a long time now. I hope that you can get as much out of this as i do. But first i should explain the name "By Hook Nor Crook" its a play on words from an old saying "By Hook Or The Crook".

"It is sometimes suggested that 'by hook or by crook' derives from the custom in mediaeval England of allowing peasants to take from royal forests whatever deadwood they could pull down with a shepherd's crook or cut with a reaper's billhook."
